In 2019, Miller Homes will form a partnership with other like minded companies and pick a team of ready and willing volunteers to build homes in Salima, Malawi alongside families in need of a decent place to live.

The poverty in Salima is very high with most of the families earning less than a dollar per day. The housing need in Samila is also extremely high, with many child-headed households whom cannot afford to build a house or rennovate their current home. HIV/AIDS has affected the area significantly, resulting in may children becoming orphaned and in need of decent housing.

At Habitat for Humanity GB, our vision is a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. By volunteering, this team are helping to break the cycle of poverty in Malawi.
