My Story

Hi and thank you for visiting my fundraising page, your help is going to be extremely valuable. 

Myself with a team of colleagues from my company Aon, are participating in the project Aon Guatemala 2019 with the charity Habitat for Humanity.

The charity Habitat for Humanity is one of the world’s leading shelter charities, its main objective is to provide a decent place to live to many people across the world who currently live in poverty and without access to decent housing conditions. 

During this project, Aon Guatemala 2019, an Aon team will be going to Guatemala to work with community members and local families to build new homes and install smokeless stoves to prevent respiratory diseases. There is a housing deficit of 1.8 million homes across Guatemala, mainly due to the lack of private and public investment. This results in large number of families living in poverty and this charity is one of the only options they have to have access to a decent home.

To make this project possible, I need your help. I have a target of £3,000 to fundraise over the course of the year to support this project, the more we collect the bigger impact we will make to these communities. In contributing to my fundraising, we together will be helping all those families living in poverty in creating a better, safer and healthier place to call home.
