My Story

I JUMPED OFF A CRANE!!!

On 13th April, in Battersea Park, I threw myself off a perfectly good crane in a bid to squeeze some pounds out of your pockets in support of our project.

In May 2024 I'm traveling to Romania with a team of Aon Colleagues to work side-by-side with famililies and community members to help build residential homes for those less fortunate.

Poverty, homelessness and escaping war means many individuals and families are left with no where safe and warm to live or raise their children.  With no home, matters such as safety, shelter, food and water, poor health and nutrition, mental health, mortality, education, unemployment and crime all become day to day struggles.

During our week long project we'll travel to Romania and work with Habitat for Humanity to help with their ongoing commitment.  The funds raised will not only aid our effort to build, renevate and repurpose buildings but will also support H4H's promise to provide future support within local communities.

Did you know:

  • 1.8b people live without adequate shelter.
  • Of the 5m homeless in Romania, 1.5m are children.
  • 52% of Romanians live in overcrowded conditions.
  • Habitat for Humanity is an international charity fighting global poverty and homelessness.

Every donation is a foundation for a better opportunity!  Any support, big or small, would be most appreciated.

Thank you!
