My Story

My name is Carlos Vázquez, I'm from Mexico and I'm very proud to be part of this volunteer initiative. I'm raising money to build water tanks that will collect rain water in Caruaru, Brazil; this is to provide access to clean water to the families living in that area

Nowadays people at Caruaru need to walk up to two hours everyday to get water for their families, their main work is the agriculture so it's vital for them to get access to clean water.

I've almost 5 years living in Mexico City, one of the biggest and overpopulated cities in the world. Lack of water is a common problem here as well and I experience it since I started to live here, that's why this volunteer service is so important to me as I understand what the lack of water means and I want to help these people to get access to clean water so they don't have to walk two hours and have better opportunities.

The donations will be used for building materials and are matched by Cisco (my employer), every donation you give will have double of impact. Each volunteer will cover their own expenses for the trip, so all donation's money is destined to help people at Caruaru.

Be part of it!
