My Story

As part of our company's ongoing commitment to charities that help those in need of housing or shelter, we are heading to the city of Sololá, Guatemala to help build homes for some of the 1.8 million Guatemalan families who currently live in poverty and without access to safe, decent housing. We will be heading to Guatemala in January 2019 as part of a team organised by the Residential Development Agents Society (RDAS).

Since 1979, Habitat for Humanity have provided over 36,500 housing solutions for families in need in Guatemala, alongside work in over 70 other countries worldwide.

As part of our trip, we will be working alongside the local community doing everything from digging foundations to putting up a roof and painting walls. We will also be installing smokeless stoves in the new houses to help prevent respiratory diseases and provide a safer method of cooking for the families we are helping.

Any donations large or small will be greatly appreciated to help us to help others in real need of a place to call home.
