My Story

As part of my 5th year at school, I am taking part in my schools Habitat for Humanity project. The Habitat For Humanity charity looks to end extreme poverty by building communities and houses to give people in underdeveloped countries a place to stay and hopefully break the cycle of poverty. Along with raising money for the charity, we go to Romania and help these communities ourselves. We work with Habitat to build house for the families and experience Romanian cultures. For us to be able to go out and participate, each individual has the challenge of raising £1500 over the year. I am taking part in different things that are helping contribute to this, such as organising a school ceilidh, doing bake sales and entering a sponsored run.
