Hello Everybody,

My name is Ivana and I am a Cisco Systems Engineer based in Germany. I'm part of a team raising funds for people in Caruaru, Brazil to build them water tanks that will help make their daily lives easier.

More than 5,5 millions of people in this region live without access to water, and obtaining clean water for consumption is a huge challenge and a complex task for the local families. A task that is often being carried out by women and children.

To help support these families with this critical aspect of daily life, a group of volunteers from Cisco, myself included, will be building water tanks for them, from 12-20 October 2019, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity. However, for that to happen we need your help in raising the funds that will allow us to cover the construction costs.

I'm also happy to confirm that Cisco will match your donations to this cause, which will thankfully get us to our goal much quicker.

We would really appreciate your contributions, however big or small, to these efforts to help the families of Caruaru.

Mein Name ist Ivana und ich bin ein Cisco SE in Deutschland. Ich bin Teil eines Teams welches aktuell Spenden für Menschen in Caruaru (Brasilien) sammelt, um den Bau von Wassertanks zu ermöglichen und damit das Leben der Menschen dort einfacher zu machen.

Mehr als 5.5 Millionen Menschen in dieser Region leben ohne Zugang zu Wasser. Sauberes Wasser zu beziehen ist sehr aufwendig und eine große Herausforderung für die dortigen Familien. Die Aufgabe der Wasserbeschaffung wird häufig durch Frauen und Kinder erledigt.

Um den Menschen in diesem kritischen Aspekt ihres Lebens zu helfen, wird eine Gruppe Freiwilliger von Cisco (inklusive mir selbst), vom 12.-20. Oktober 2019 in Zusammenarbeit mit „Habitat for Humanity“ Wassertanks für die Familien bauen. Damit dies geschehen kann, brauchen wir Eure Hilfe um durch eine Spendenaktion die Baukosten zu sammeln.

Des Weiteren freut es mich mitteilen zu können, dass Cisco Eure Spende verdoppeln wird, was es uns ermöglicht unser Ziel deutlich schneller zu erreichen.

Wir sind sehr dankbar für deine Beteiligung, egal ob groß oder klein, um die Familien in Caruaru zu unterstützen.
