My Story

I’m going to Guatemala with Habitat for Humanity in conjunction with the Residential development Agents Society (RDAS) to help families who live in the slums of Sololá Guatemala’s second largest city. We will be trying to make their homes more habitable and safe by installing smokeless stoves and making repairs wherever possible.

I leave on the 11th January 2019 and will be with a group of volunteers who are associated with RDAS. I’m looking to raise money for this cause to enable me to take part in this trip and really make a difference to families by providing a safe, secure environment for them to live.

I did a similar trip to Cambodia last year with Habitat for Humanity, which was incredibly rewarding and made a real difference to one amazing family out there. The cause is so worthwhile that even after getting myself hospitalised for heatstroke, im back to do it all over again!!!

Whatever donation you feel you can give is much appreciated, for those who sponsor me over £200 your company logo will be placed on my hard hat/t shirt. As the trip is with RDAS the exposure to your brand should be far reaching, especially at all of the RDAS events that take place in the year. I am targeting £1,000 but with all of your help I hope to exceed this figure!
