I was recently selected to participate in a volunteer trip organized through joint efforts by Habitat for Humanity, Water for lives and Cisco. For the trip I will be traveling to Caruaru, a poverty-stricken city in eastern Brazil to help build cisterns for the local communities. The goal is to help provide more clean water access to locals who otherwise would not have any in their homes and town.
