My Story

To support my fundraising efforts for my trip to help the poorest families in Guatemala, I'm undertaking a Skydive which I've called it the 'I must be mad' Skydive!! I'll be jumping out of a plane at 15,000 ft on 28th October 2018.  Please show your support and encouragement by donating to Habitat for Humanity.

There is a housing deficit of 1.8 million homes across Guatemala. That means millions of Guatemalan families are living in poverty and without access to decent housing. I'm joining a group from Aon to spend a week in Guatemala to help a family or two trapped in poverty to build a home, and we'll be providing a permanent and powerful way for that family to begin a new life. In addition to building houses, we will also install smokeless stoves, ensuring healthier homes by preventing respiratory diseases, which is a real issue in Guatemala.  I'll be hands-on, mixing concrete and mortar; pouring concrete; splitting and laying concrete blocks!  It's going to be a big change from sitting in front of a laptop in comfort!

Anything you can do to help support this fantastic charity, Habitat for Humanity, and help us build more homes for these families who currently live in shacks at best, will be hugely appreciated.  I'll work as hard as I can on your behalf to do my best for these families whilst we're there and beyond.

I'll be so grateful for any donation you can make, thank you.
