My Story
Hello!
In February 2020 myself and a team of 12 of my colleagues from CALA homes and Legal and General Homes will be embarking on a challenging trip to Pondicherry, India with Habitat for Humanity with the goal to build a new home for a family in desperate need.
The demand for safe housing in rural India is huge as currently hundreds of families are living in accommodation which isn’t fit for purpose, generally a small mud hut with a thatched roof, making them vulnerable and without access to basic things we take for granted such as sanitation facilities.
Habitat for Humanity are a fantastic charity that build safe homes for families in need across the world, your donations mean that not only my host family, but many more families living in poverty will have a safe place to call home.
