My Story

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to come and read my fundraising page for Habitat for Humanity!

In February 2020 I will be embarking on a journey to India with a group of my peers from CALA Homes and Legal and General, with the goal of building a safe and secure home for a family in Pondicherry, India where the need for housing in rural areas is huge. There are hundreds of families who face dangers every day for living in unfit accommodation with no sanitation facilities at all, simple things that can often be taken for granted.

The build will take place over the course of a week where we will be assisted by local builders, who will have already begun construction on the more technical elements of the build ready for our arrival. While we will only be able to help a small number of people on our trip, we hope it will make an enormous difference to their lives.

I ask for your help to raise funds for this worthy charity, so they can continue the work that they have been doing over the years to help countless other people in desperate need of secure housing, for themselves and their families.
