My Story

My name is Mick Endsor, I work in the tech sector in London and I am raising money for Habitat for Humanity. In June 2019 I will be joining a team from Miller Homes and like-minded companies to build homes in Salima, Malawi. We will build directly with the community for families in need of a safe and secure home to live in.

Poverty is very high in Salima and few families can afford to build a new home or renovate their existing homes. HIV/AIDS has left many children orphaned and in desperate need of decent housing.

A safe, secure and weatheproof home really is the foundation for a better life for the families of Salima. A safe home means children have a place to study. A safe home means they are protected from diseases and so can go to school. A safe home gives families the foundation to build a better life.

Building in partnership with local communities is a powerful way to make a difference.

This experience is going to be far out of my comfort zone and so I am excited but nervous for the trip. But most of all I'm looking forward to making a difference to the lives of deserving families.

Any donation you can give will help Habitat for Humanity to continue to make a difference.

Thank you,

Mick Endsor.
