My Story

Hi my name is Nabeel, I am an Assistant Architectural Technologist at Miller Homes and have been chosen as one of the lucky members to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity.

In April 2019 I will be travelling to Salima, Malawi with 17 of my colleagues from Miller Homes and will be rolling up my sleeves to help build warm and safe homes for less fortunate and low income families.

Malawi is a third world country and one of the poorest nations in the world with many families who earn less than one dollar a day. There are many children who are orphaned In Salima with numbers continuously rising which is why it is important to build homes and places of comfort for these people to live. I would like to ask you to take a moment, imagine these families and think of the basics we take for granted on a daily basis that they don’t have.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me through this journey by raising awareness and being a contributing member of this project. I will be forever grateful if you could make a donation, of any size, to help me smash my target of £2,000 for this incredible cause! Your donation will go to ‘Help for Humanity’ to fund projects like this in Malawi and around the world. (Don’t forget to add Gift Aid).

Thank you for taking the time to read this story. Your contribution to this project will give you the opportunity to help provide a place called home for those who are less fortunate and have nowhere to live.
