My Story

A home means so much more to people than just bricks and mortar, and to provide a home for your own family, let alone someone else’s is a huge responsibility, a privilege even.

In April 2019 I’ll be travelling to Malawi for a week with a great team from Miller Homes to join Habitat for Humanity. Over that week we aim to build at least three homes for families who need them most. Habitat for Humanity is a global, non-profit housing organisation with over 40 years of experience. They empower people in the world’s poorest communities to overcome the chronic lack of decent, affordable housing. Since 1976, they have helped 9.8 million people in over 70 countries.

I’d like to raise at least £1,000 for Habitat for Humanity before April and will be fundraising between now and then with other team members. So please dig deep, or give whatever you can (don’t forget Gift Aid!) so that we can help give families in Salima a safe place to call home.
