My Story

Thank you for visiting my page, my name is Tom and I work for a company called Aon. Aon have given me the given me the amazing opportunity to volunteer for a trip to Guatemala with Habitat for Humanity and I need your help in fundraising for building materials and supplies.

Habitat for Humanity are an international charity that focus on long term poverty alleviation through affordable housing and since 1976 have built over 1 million houses in over 70 countries. However, there are still over 1.5 billion people in the world without adequate shelter.

I volunteered for this trip as having a safe and secure shelter is a basic human right and is the foundation for a safer and more prosperous community. Being able to visit a country in poverty and help first hand will be an eye-opening experience but I am looking forward to getting stuck in an making a positive difference.
