My Story

Hi, thank you for visiting my fundraising page, here's my story.....

I have been given the opportunity to travel to Guatemala in January 2019 with 26 of my Aon UK colleagues in partnership Habitat for Humanity, to help build homes for families living in poverty. The key component is the installation of smokeless stoves, to create healthier homes.

Habitat for Humanity Great Britain (HFHGB) helps the poorest and most vulnerable people lift themselves out of poverty by partnering with them to build their homes and communities. With a home comes protection from the elements, from disease and from violence. A decent and secure home provides the foundation for health, education and employment. 

I will be doing various fundraising activities over the next 9 months in order to reach my target.  Whilst this trip will be physically (and no doubt emotionally) challenging for us all, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and help make a difference for these vulnerable families.
