My Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. RDAS (Residential Development Agents Society) are sending a team of volunteers to Guatemala in January to help as many people who live in the slums of Sololá as possible.

We will be fitting smokeless stoves into homes as many families currently cook and heat their home with open fires. There is little or no ventilation in their houses so many families and children suffer from respiratory diseases. We are going, as a team, to try and change a few lives and alleviate these issues by building stoves and in some cases repairing homes so that they are more habitable.

This vital work will provide a hand up for families living in poverty and forever change their lives.

Whilst we all work in property and I'm personally involved in selling and marketing some seriously swanky homes the charities that I like to support in return are those in need of housing. The housing deficit is real not just a #housingcrisis they are 1.8 million homes short across Guatemala.

Habitat for Humanity is one of the only options for these families. Since 1979, Habitat for Humanity Guatemala has been able to provide more than 36,500 housing solutions to families in need. Starting in 2011, Habitat for Humanity Guatemala established the project Small Change, Giant Leap with the goal of installing 17,000 smokeless stoves in five years.

I will be hugely grateful for anyone who is able to sponsor me however small, every little bit really does count and mean a lot.

There will be some spots for corporate sponsorship, if this is of interest to you please speak to me directly, there will be far reaching exposure for your brand.

It will be a labour of love.

Thank you hugely
